What life means to me

I sit inside my small closet with a mix of mod podge and glitter on my hands at 3 AM making manifestation boards while listening to Soulmate by Mac Miller on repeat for the sixth straight hour. I enter a state of Nirodha with the monotony of the music connecting my soul, body, and mind -full circle- with my dreams. I am fully engrossed in collaging aesthetic 4x6 pictures of what I want my life to be, what inspires me, and what will let me conquer life, reach my dreams, and embody the energy of satisfaction for my being.

The pictures on my board represent my dreams of becoming a doctor, businesswoman, motivational speaker, and wife while engaging in the deepest experiences of present emotions. My six-hour spiral was an eye-opening moment of understanding the fundamental qualities which I enlist into my life daily. My knowledge now allows my dreams to become a reality, while obstructing the fears which come from the un-comfortability of my unknown.

The future is in your hands, and if you truly want to evoke change, obtain a tangible product, intangible service or construct vivid memories that trigger intense emotions, you will find a way to work for it. My goal in this one life I live is to change the world, but not in the traditional sense of seeking a large platform, immense monetary gain, or number one ranking in my expertise. Instead, I want my one life to connect with those around me and transcend into a ripple of positive energy, empowerment, and focus on self-satisfaction. With the only life I have, I want to spend every moment engrossed in the emotions of my present self, paying attention to those who are experiencing the highs and lows of life. To me changing the world happens when I can impact one person starting with myself to create a present mentality and acknowledge how life is an experience that you have to make yours. The experiences which we engage in are a series of emotions that I want to help spark, create, and connect for myself, the people around me, and anyone who will listen. I want to change the world by changing my mindset, while striving to create emotions that reflect a state of eternal satisfaction and wholeness.

Every moment of your life could be your last, so why not constantly try to get better even when in the deepest voids or atop of the world. When I see the phrase or idea of YOLO in a mirror, the reflection I see is not to exacerbate my work recklessly or live-in fear, but to face the fears which bound us. You only live once, but the idea of once is broken down into every moment of our lives. One can fail nine times, but stand up the tenth, and even if they fall again on the tenth, they have enough experience for growth to be truly successful. Living one life to me starts at the core of prioritizing your relationship with yourself. By changing the habits and ideals which you view your persona and transcend the way your energy undulates allows for the attainment of a robust life.

You only live one life, and that one life to me is fueled by deep-rooted desires for my dreams, happiness, and balanced soul. By creating one-percent changes in life, starting from minuscule alterations that lead to a greater quality of life, the path which will allow me to accomplish my dreams of changing the world will become fluorescent.

Now I hustle, because of the pictures collaged physically on my wall, and emotions evoked from the pictures in my soul.

You only live once, so why not make your dream life a reality?
